Jalapeños Peppers
Conventional and organic jalapeno peppers can be used as an ingredient in a variety of food and beverage products. Jalapenos are the ubiquitous chili pepper most people think of when they think Mexican, Southwestern, and Tex-Mex cuisine. They can be green or red depending on their degree of ripeness.
They also vary in heat and intensity with a range of between 1,000 and 20,000 units on the Scoville scale.
